# Badge and the Built in Europe list

Show visitors that your app is hosted and owned in Europe, and put it on the public list of apps that run with Brewless.

Every application has a section **Badge and the Built in Europe list** at the bottom of its page in the console. Every member of your organisation can copy the badge. Only members who may manage applications can put the app on the list.

## The badge

The badge says "Hosted & owned in Europe with Brewless" and links to the [Built in Europe list](https://brewless.eu/built-in-europe). Pick light or dark, then copy the HTML and paste it where it belongs in your site, for example in the footer.

The HTML holds the image itself as inline SVG. Your visitors load nothing from Brewless when the badge shows: no script, no image request, no cookie. Only a click on it leads to brewless.eu.

> [!TIP]
> On a page bunny.net keeps at the edge, the badge costs nothing extra: it is part of the page.

## The Built in Europe list

The list on brewless.eu shows apps that run with Brewless, with a name, an address and one sentence about each. An app is on it only when its organisation put it there:

1. Fill in the name visitors know the app by, its `https://` address and a description of up to 160 characters.
2. Choose **Put it forward**. The app now waits for review, and Brewless is told by mail.
3. A person at Brewless reads it and approves it, or does not take it. The status shows next to the form.

When you change the name, the address or the description, the entry waits for review again and stays off the list until then. **Take it off the list** removes it at once from Brewless; removing the application does the same. The public page is kept at the edge for up to an hour, so a change can take that long to show.
